I'm Işık Kont. I was born in Mersin in 1997. I was diagnosed with scoliosis at the age of 12. At the age of 13, I had scoliosis surgery at Hacettepe University Hospital. Even though the physiotherapy programs I received before and after the operation discouraged me at that time, they shaped the center of my life and my work.

 

    I graduated from Mersin ISE Anatolian Health Vocational High School nursing department at the age of 18 and got my first health personnel title. I started my university life with Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Physiotherapy program. One year after my graduation, I entered Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation and completed my university life by graduating a year early.  After university, I received training in Chiropractic Treatment, Cupping, Kinesiotaping, Dry Needling, Lymph Edema Massage and Thai Massage.

   I am currently the owner of Physiotherapist Işık Count Clinic in Istanbul/Tuzla. In my clinic, I perform exercise treatments, dry needling, cupping, massage, chiropractic treatment, kinesiotaping and PRP applications. I advocate that holistic treatment program applications are effective in many diseases, so I do not apply only exercise or only single-process programs such as dry needling in my clinic. I am of the opinion that the treatment goal of most diseases can only be achieved by multidisciplinary work. Sometimes this can be a psychologist and sometimes a dietitian, but the biggest role in every treatment belongs to the patient.
